Marta Manus

Marta was born in Debrecen, Hungary, a small town approximately two hours outside of Budapest. With the help of various international rescue organizations, her family immigrated to the United States in 1981 in hopes of a better future. From an early age, Marta realized that she must take advantage of the opportunities that were available to her. She made it her goal to pursue a career where she would make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Marta graduated cum laude from California State University, Northridge, receiving her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She is a member of the Psi Chi National Honor Society and was the recipient of the San Fernando Valley Legal Scholarship Award. While an undergraduate, she volunteered her time as a Big Sister and a mentor working with underprivileged youth in the Los Angeles area to help achieve their goals of attending college.

Marta moved to San Diego to attend California Western School of Law. While a law student, she completed an internship at the Family Justice Center, assisting and counseling victims of domestic violence. Additionally, she was a student supervisor for the California Western School of Law Bail Project. In recognition of her efforts, she was invited to join the Pro Bono Honor Society.

Marta’s background is in class action Employment Law. She joined the Employment Law department at GraceHollis LLP, as an attorney in early 2009. Her practice areas consist primarily of employment and labor related issues. more >
