Who We Help

Who We Help

The attorneys and staff of GraceHollis actively participate in our communities. Our efforts to be good neighbors take many forms — from donating our time and money to making sure low-income families can share Thanksgiving dinner to providing pro bono legal services. Partner Graham S.P. Hollis is a two-time recipient of the Wiley W. Manual Award for Pro Bono Legal Services from the State Bar of California's Board of Governors for volunteer legal services to the poor.

Because of our focus on giving back, the firm created the GraceHollis Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable corporation to more effectively channel our resources.  Through the Foundation, attorneys and staff volunteer their time and participate in their communities by tutoring homeless children, restoring dilapidated housing and other worthy activities. The GraceHollis Foundation raises money through holiday lunch parties and sales of vending machine items in our offices.

The Foundation historically has focused the majority of its efforts on two nonprofit organizations: the Harbor Summit School and Local Head Start Program.

Every year the GraceHollis Foundation and the employees of GraceHollis have the joy of providing holiday gifts for kids in need. The Foundation also continues to send funding to the Harbor Summit School for needed classroom supplies as well as taking the kids on field trips during the school year.
