Harbor Summit School
The Harbor Summit School is a three-classroom year-round public school in partnership with St. Vincent de Paul Villages. The kindergarten through eighth grade school is located in an apartment building in downtown San Diego.
This school is a little different from the ones most of us remember. All of its students are homeless.
Many live on the street. The lucky ones sleep in cars, or share a crowded room in a dive hotel. The most fortunate live with their moms in women's shelters.
The GraceHollis Foundation actively supports the students and their teachers through donations of personal time and gifts. Each year the Foundation funds multiple field trips to give these homeless children experiences most of us take for granted
